Family Fun Day on the<\/span> 25th Jul 2021<\/h1>\n

The Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum<\/strong><\/span> will hold our annual Family Fun Day<\/span><\/strong> on Sunday the 25th July 2021<\/strong><\/span>.  The Museum will be open from 100<\/strong>0 until 1600<\/span><\/strong> and entry is free, as is parking on the day.<\/p>\n

\"\"BBMF Flypast<\/h3>\n

Subject to weather conditions on the day and their operational commitments, the RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight<\/strong><\/span> will have one of their Hurricane<\/strong> <\/span>aircraft do a flyby over the Museum on Sunday. <\/p>\n

Timings will only be announced on the day when the BBMF have their schedule arranged.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Lots to Do and See<\/span><\/h3>\n

As usual on Family Fun Day, there will be lots to see and lots to do especially for the children. <\/p>\n

We will hope to have aircraft cockpits open for the public to see inside, there will be flight simulators in operation and lots of military uniforms to try on as well as other artefacts to be handled. <\/p>\n

We will have an aircraft that you can help assemble and there will also be stomp rockets for the children.<\/p>\n

There will be music in the main hangar by Andy Garner and his 1940’s themed music.<\/p>\n

Given good weather, we have been promised a visit by a Vintage Car Club on the day.<\/p>\n

<\/span>NAAFI Caf\u00e9<\/span><\/h3>\n

The NAAFI Caf\u00e9<\/strong> <\/span>is open again in the main hangar.  As well as displaying numerous pieces of artwork donated to the Museum, the NAAFI is serving muffins, crisps, Eccles cakes, flapjacks and numerous other snacks along with soft drinks, tea and coffee.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Family Friendly for all Ages<\/span><\/h3>\n

The onsite shop has museum and aircraft-related items for sale.  Items range in price from “pocket money” upwards, with lots of models and toys for the children.  The shop also serves drinks, sweets and ice creams. <\/p>\n

With picnic tables throughout the site, we have plenty of space for the whole family. <\/p>\n

We are wheelchair friendly in all areas apart from aircraft cockpits.<\/p>\n

Dogs are welcome in all areas apart from the shop.  We do however request you keep your dogs on a leash at all times. <\/p>\n

<\/span>COVID Guidelines<\/span><\/h3>\n

With the relaxation of the COVID Rules by the Government, the Museum has just a few guidelines in place for visitors so that we do not restrict you too much, and you are allowed to enjoy the Museum as much as possible.  The guidelines are as follows:<\/p>\n
