Egg Hunt @ NASAM"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 style=\"text-align: left;\">Easter Egg Hunt at the Museum<\/h1>\n<p>The <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum <\/strong><\/span>will be open on Sunday the 17th of April 2022 from 1000 until 1600 for the annual <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Easter Egg Hunt<\/strong><\/span> in support of the <strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">East Anglia Air Ambulance<\/span><\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This annual family day out at the museum is in support of the East Anglian Air Ambulance.&nbsp; A donation will be made to the Air Ambulance after the event.<\/p>\n<p>There will be stalls and games for all the family to enjoy.&nbsp; There will be a quiz on the day with an Easter Egg being the centre of East Anglia.&nbsp; Enjoy a family day out with lots to do and see.&nbsp; With the museum being free to park and free to enter, this is a reasonable day out and a chance to see a plethora of aviation items.&nbsp; Located on the site can be found; 60+ aircraft and cockpits on display, 1000s of related aviation artefacts from the early 1900s through to more modern times.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In addition to the main hangars, the rooms behind the shop and the outside aircraft exhibits, there are separate buildings dedicated to <strong>Co<span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">astal Command\/Air Sea Rescue, The Royal Observer Corps, RAF Bomber Command<\/span><\/strong> and the <strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">446 USAAF Bomb Group<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Provided we have sufficient volunteers on the day, we are aiming, to have <strong>Aircraft Cockpits Open<\/strong> for you to look inside.&nbsp; There will be an aircraft access charge, but this is through a booklet (cost \u00a35.00), which entitles you to come back and visit those cockpits you did not see on the day.&nbsp; The booklet is valid for 12 months.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Again, provided there are sufficient volunteers available, there will be <strong>Flight Simulators<\/strong> to fly and <strong>Military Weapons<\/strong> to see (no charge for the Flight Simulators).<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"We_are_Family_Friendly\"><\/span>We are Family Friendly<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With a family-friendly atmosphere, all are welcome.&nbsp; No advance booking is necessary, just turn up on the day.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The on-site shop has both museum and aircraft-related items for sale.&nbsp; Items range in price from &#8220;pocket money&#8221; upwards, with lots of models and toys for the children.&nbsp; The shop also serves drinks, sweets and ice creams.&nbsp; With picnic tables scattered
