Tablecloth"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Spitfire Tablecloth &#8230;&#8230;<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>In the ROC building, we have a tablecloth raffled in 1940 as part of the &#8216;Spitfire Appeal&#8217;.&nbsp; This tablecloth would have been signed by members of the Observer Corps who were on duty at the Oxford Centre, to raise money for that appeal in 1940.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We would like to know if anyone recalls this, or knows any of the Observers who signed this item.&nbsp; This list of Observers is given below, and the signatures are shown in more
