font-size: 16px;\">Special features of the Alde Valley Suffolk Family History Group\u2019s Open Day this year will be the results of two recent projects:&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">We are currently researching the lives of those Leiston folk who tragically lost their lives during World War Two, and we are appealing to the public for stories or photos relating to them. And we have been cataloguing the gravestones at St Margaret\u2019s, Leiston; the finalised project will be formally unveiled at the open day, when visitors will have the opportunity to discover more about their ancestral links with Leiston and obtain digital copies of&nbsp;relevant photographs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">We will also again be displaying our&nbsp;historic photos of Leiston Grammar School sports teams, including some new ones which have only recently come to light.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">And back by popular demand \u2013 Have you got any old family photos which you can\u2019t put a date to?
