color: #800000;\">Dear Friends,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: comic sans ms, sans-serif; color: #800000;\">Following the latest advice from Government about the necessary steps we should all take to protect ourselves and others from the Covid-19 virus, I regret to advise that the decision has been taken to cancel INK Festival 2020<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: comic sans ms, sans-serif; color: #800000;\">Everyone who knows and loves INK will appreciate quite how difficult a decision this was to take. But, the Directors and Trustees felt that in the face of so many uncertainties on so many fronts, it was the right thing to do, however painful.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: comic sans ms, sans-serif; color: #800000;\">A huge amount of work by a great number of people has already gone into INK 2020, and we are determined to salvage and reward as much of this investment as possible. To that end, we intend to carry over all the plays in this year\u2019s programme to our next festival. And then add yet more, to make next year\u2019s INK even bigger and better!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: comic sans ms, sans-serif; color: #800000;\">We remain committed to our core ambition to nurture talent and encourage people from all walks of life, to write short plays for INK so we will have more plays, in more categories, and hopefully, additional venues<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: comic sans ms, sans-serif; color: #800000;\">Much of this depends on the goodwill of our terrific INK family. We are so indebted to all of you: writers, actors, technicians, stage crew, directors, sponsors, poets, volunteers, artists, press, friends and administrators. Tragically his plane exploded over Blythburgh, Suffolk killing both him and his co-pilot.<\/p>\n<p>The play was to be performed at the following locations in East Anglia:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The INK
