Norfolk Internal Combustion Engine Society .. Sunday 8th April 2018

The Norfolk Internal Combustion Engine (NICE) Society held a meeting / display at the Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum on Sunday the 8^th April 2018.

It was a damp start to the day …but the gentle rhythmical sound of ‘putt………putt………putt’ greeted the visitor to the museum.

On closer inspection both sides of the grass drive was lined with wonderful old, but working steam engines of varying sizes and colours. Some were lighting up bulbs (a nice beacon in the dull Sunday morning) others were creating waterfalls and gushing water into buckets.

The rain held off but if you went into the hangar nestled around the hangar floor were tables with some interesting, and varied, collections. These ranged from small miniature steam engines, wood whittling to a collection of bottle openers and miscellaneous items.
