Museum Open on Sundays (Temporary) …

Open on Sundays

Because of the restrictions caused by the Coronavirus situation, the Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum had closed its doors temporarily.  Now that some restrictions have been lifted, it is planned that we will reopen on Sundays until the 16 of May when the situation will be reviewed again.  The current plans, therefore, are that the museum will be open on:

  • Sunday 18th April
  • Sunday 25th April
  • Sunday 2nd May
  • Monday 3rd May
  • Sunday 9th May and
  • Sunday 16th May

If the government unlock process continues as per plan, we should also be able to open up the buildings to the public from Monday 17th May.  We will publish these dates as soon as they are known.

Please keep an eye on this blog and on our various Social Media Accounts in order to see the latest information on open dates and other activities.

?? Can you help the Museum ??

In these financially constrained times, the Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum is grateful for the financial help that has been given by individuals in keeping the museum running.

The museum gathers a great deal of its income from donations given by visitors as they tour the various buildings and aircraft.  Despite the numerous temporary closures and the subsequent lack of footfall through the museum, we still have ongoing costs in maintenance, insurance and utilities.

If you would like to help the museum, there are two ways in which you can do so.  You can either by making a donation to the museum or by becoming a museum member.
