Junior Engineer Day ..10th April 2018 ……
Fourteen youngsters took part in the second of our Junior Engineer’s days on Tuesday 10th April 2018.
The day saw:
- Bird Boxes being built,
- Smartphone stands fashioned from sheets of aluminium,
- Flashing light devices constructed with soldering irons,
- Model houses wired,
- Flying models built and successfully flown,
- Engines dismantled and re-assembled and
- Future pilots trained to fly a good circuit in the simulator.

Two mothers who stayed the day also had fun, making jigsaws that they had bought from the bric-a-brac.

We also received a photograph of one of the smartphone stands in use.

Feedback from the day was encouraging and we certainly plan to run another of these days in the Autumn half term.
