NASAM Red Arrow on Tour
Having seen our toy Push Planes in the hangar, Paul decided that he would like to purchase one of the Red Arrow planes for his 1-year-old son. There were none available at the time, the chippies set about building a new one for the young man.
This construction was seen in the Chippy Update VIII in July this year. Chippy Update VIII
As soon as the plane had been completed, Paul drove 4 hours to the Museum to collect the model and returned to the south coast with the present for the young man. Since that time and throughout the summer, the Red Arrow Plane and the young pilot have been performing on the seafront of the seaside town where they live.
Our thanks go to Paul for sending in the pictures (below) and for giving us permission to publish them. The entire Chippy Crew are delighted to see their work being enjoyed and also thanks to Paul the museum funds have been increased. 🙂
