Junior Engineers at the Museum
25 different youngsters took part in the Junior Engineering Day at the Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum on Tuesday 23rd October.
Some completed one session, most completed one in the morning and another in the afternoon.
The activities available were:
- making a bird box,
- making an iPad stand (other tablets are available, and can equally be supported),
- wiring a household circuit,
- maintaining a four stroke petrol engine,
- completing a Veroboard flashing light using a soldering iron,
- building a radio and
- learning to fly a circuit in one of our Flight Simulators.
Since the day we have had several thanks from parents as the youngsters had enjoyed the day, all asked when the next one is to be held.
The answer to that last question is Tuesday 28th May 2019, activities will be announced around Easter next year, bookings will be taken from the same time.
Well done all the team/
