Tuesday 5th March – Four in a Bed
We welcomed the TV crew and participants of Channel 4’s ‘Four In A Bed’ series to the Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum on Tuesday 5 March.
The B&B-oriented programme lets owners in different areas of the country show off attractions local to their premises; Tuesday’s B&B is in Denton and its owners have a link to NASAM on their website.
So, on a clear but chilly day, we showed off the Valetta and the F-27 giving the participants the chance to sit in the aircraft while we talked through the various histories and technical details. All seemed suitably impressed … but we’ll have to wait for actual transmission of the programme before we get to see how much of our ‘spiel’ made it to the final cut! Those of you who’ve been involved in the making of tv programmes will know that most of the time is spent ‘hanging around’ … Tuesday was no exception, but the national publicity for our beloved museum made it all worthwhile!
Well done to everyone involved.
Has the Four In A Bed tv programme featuring the museum been on the tv yet? I watch the tv programme but haven’t seen the episode with the museum in it yet.
We were told that we would be advised when it was to be screened, and we have heard nothing to date. If we are informed, we will publish it on our blog and social media pages.
