Today at the Museum –
Norfolk Internal Combustion Engine Society @ NASAM – 7th Apr 2019
Today, the Norfolk Internal Combustion Engine Society held their special day at the Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum. The weather wasn’t very kind, but that did not stop their enthusiasm for machinery, collections, engines and steam.
From their website: Created in 1973 by a group of people who had likeminded ideas for restoring old Machinery, mainly Agricultural, the NICE society evolved into a club which collects all and everything. You name it someones got it. Each Year the club donates to a charity or worthy cause chosen by the members.
The club comprises Stationary Engines, Tractors, Horticultural Machinery, Classic Cars, Motorcycles, and Table-Top Collections The NICE Society now boasts a large and enthusiastic Radio Controlled Section. All of which are regularly exhibited at rallies across the country. The NICE Society always welcomes new members. They are a friendly group that meets the third Wednesday every month except August at Bawburgh Village Hall (Near Norfolk Showground). Details can be found on their website NICE website
Good turnout, such a pity about the weather.
