Aviation Enthusiasts Day .. Sunday 19th May 2019
Aviation enthusiasts from across East Anglia will gather at the Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum on Sunday19th May 2018.
Like last year, the RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Dakota is scheduled to make an appearance. Please note, however, that timing has not yet been agreed, and the flypast is subject to operational and weather conditions at the time. We will not know the timings until on the day, and then only after the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight have called us to confirm.
At this year’s event, we are expecting representation from:
- New Farm Aviation Museum
- Rumburgh Decoy Site
- Flying Models
- RAFA Harleston
- Bungay/Flixton ROC
- ROC Seaborne
- D-Day aviation art
- Die Cast models
- AviationBook Sales
- 100BG museum
- 448BG museum
- Lowestoft modellers
- Halesworth Airfield Museum
This should be a great day out for all the family with refreshments available from our NAAFI themed cafe, picnic tables available on site and the shop selling ice creams and inexpensive gifts for the children.
There is our boardwalk down to the River Waveney and with the site being family friendly, wheelchair friendly and doggy friendly (although not in the shop please). The free to enter and free to park makes this an excellent day out.
Looks like it’s going to be a good day.
