Construction @ NASAM
At the Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum, we have the promise of a new aeroplane coming in on long term loan.
We’re not exactly sure when it is arriving, but we do know that it’s rather heavy. Obviously, if we stand it on grass then in a relatively short space of time it will sink in up to its fuselage.
To prevent this from happening, we have had work completed to build a concrete pad capable of supporting it. Contractors have been working on site for the last three days to build it, and it’s now ready. It will take two to three weeks to “cure” and then we’re ready for the new exhibit to be moved in.

I guess that you’re asking what the new exhibit is, watch this space, more information will hopefully follow (unless it all falls through, then does anyone want a large triangle of concrete?)
Looking good; let’s hope the new aircraft arrives!
