Diary Date – RAFA and Veterans Day @ NASAM – Sunday 11th Aug 2019
Here we have another Diary Date for the Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum. On Sunday 11th August 2019, there will be a RAFA and Veterans Day at the Museum.
Come along and meet members of the Royal Air Forces Association and other Veterans in the relaxing environment of one of East Anglia’s premier aviation museums.
The museum will be open from 1000 until 1700, with light refreshments available all day from the NAAFI themed cafe; we have picnic tables throughout the site and dancing in the hangar during the afternoon to music from the 1940s.
We are family-friendly with things for the children to do (we should have a helicopter flight simulator available during the day). We are wheelchair friendly and dog-friendly (but not in the shop please).
FLYPAST
The flypast is subject to weather conditions and operational commitments on the day, but all being well, the Royal Air Force Battle of Britain Memorial Flight DAKOTA will give a flypast on the day.
