Scout Air Activities @ NASAM – 28th Sep 2019
On Saturday 28th September approximately 75 Beavers and Cubs attended the Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum to undertake their Air Activities badges.
They visited various parts of the museum and covered topics such as what the different parts of the aeroplane are for, different roles aeroplanes undertake, dangers on airfields, what’s different about helicopters and what the 446th Bomb Group did during the Second World War.
Plus they made Stomp Rockets, Polystyrene plate gliders and had a go at flying one of our flight simulators.
As the youngsters found out even having lunch is different when you’re sitting amongst the many aircraft outside the museum.

They loved sitting in the Valetta and trying on flying helmets.
