Tuesday @ NASAM – 7 Jan 2020
or WE SEE THE LIGHT
Tuesday, the 7th Jan 2020 saw some of the volunteers at the Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum cut back the overgrown brush along the right-hand side of the carpark. We were helped at times by a Robin which was looking for insects that we may have unearthed.
This brash was mainly Buddleia, while it is a great plant which attracts Butterflies it had become very overgrown and straggly as well as beginning to intrude into the car park.

During the work, we also unearthed some Kerb stones which were almost hidden in the undergrowth.
We are hoping that when the work is completed, it will enable the hawthorn to thrive and allow us to manage the Buddleia in the future.
The next task will be to remove the cut material, which will enable us to use the area for parking again.
