Diary Date .. 22nd April 2018 .. Two Additional Motoring Events …..
In addition to the Triangle (Ipswich) M.C.C. Ltd Annual Motorcycle Charity Run, mentioned in a previous posting, two other Motoring Events will be visiting the Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum on Sunday the 22nd April 2018.
The two additional motoring events are:
The Norfolk and Suffolk Branch of the Morris Minor Owners Club – Drive It Day
(From the club website) …. ” The Iceni Minors, Norfolk and Suffolk Branch of the Morris Minor Owners Club was formed in 1980, making us one of the oldest branchs in the MMOC. Our members own a range of cars in varying conditions. We display at rallies in and around Norfolk and Suffolk; and sometimes further a field so we can visit places of particular interest. We are a friendly branch and our main aim is to enjoy ourselves and the cars in the company of others. “
The Drive it Day on the 22nd April 2018 will be starting at Southwold and finishing at Old Buckenham. The run will be along the route of the 2016 Women’s Cycle Tour and will call at the Aviation Museum as part of the route.

Enjoying MG Rally
Whilst I have no details of which club is involved, we have been told that twelve to fifteen MG cars are likely to arrive as part of their scenic drive.

Meanwhile come along and enjoy a great day out for the family. We are open from 1000 to 1700 on the Sunday. Entry is free, parking on site is free, dogs are welcome on a lead and there are refreshments at the ‘NAAFI cafe’ in the main hangar. We have numerous planes and cockpits to look at, hundreds of artefacts, not to mention working flight simulators and other hands-on exhibits. Details of what can be seen are on our main website::
