Christmas Refurbishment @ NASAM – (as at 23 Dec 18)
Progress has been continuing at the Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum on the shop renovation throughout the week since the last update. The following updates were sent in by volunteers who are continuing to carry out the work.
Update on the 20th December 2018, the new cabinets are all now all in place, The screen wall and counter have been erected and the drawer units are in place. Most of the walls have been covered and are ready for painting.
Update on the 21st December 2018, painting of the walls continued in order to have all the walls decorated before the carpet fitter arrives after Christmas. Last painting session, if required, will be on Sunday 27th December.
Carpet laying is scheduled immediately after the two days Christmas break. The remainder of the work will be carried out after the floor covering is laid, however, it’s starting to look like a shop again.
Looks very good. Quite a transformation.
