Bank Holiday Saturday at the Museum
On the Saturday of the August Bank Holiday (24th Aug 2019), the Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum was open, as it has been across the school summer holidays, for an aircraft access Saturday.
The Norfolk branch of the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club chose it as a good day for a run out to the museum. Ten motorcycles and riders visited the museum and enjoyed a leisurely look around the exhibits.
Images From The Day
The VJMC were far from the only visitors on a beautiful sunny day with lots of people taking advantage of the opportunity to get up close and personal with eight of the exhibits. During the day the Spitfire, Valetta, Sea Hawk, Sea Prince, Gnat, F27 Friendship and Anderson Shelter were open the day also saw the first time that the (Piston) Provost was open.
Lovely day for a motor cycle ride and a great place to visit.
