Brushing Up @ NASAM

Six of the volunteer team set out on Tuesday 18 Sep 2020 to clear brush from around the Eastern boundary of the Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum site in order to replace a fence that had disappeared and deteriorated.

We got more than we planned for.

On reversing the trailer down the lane beside the site we discovered that a leylandii tree from inside the site had fallen over during the weekend gales and was blocking the lane. The first job, therefore, turned out to be, cut the leylandii up and remove it to our large pile of brush which is in the process of becoming a wildlife habitat.

After that we were able to remove the remaining brush, now we just need to get the contractors in to put the new fence up.
