NASAM Video Tour No1 … Main Hangar …
As the Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum remains closed for the near future, we have decided to take you on a short virtual tour and show you some of the many aircraft and exhibits that we have on-site.
First of these short video snippets starts in the NAAFI refreshments area of the main hanger with some of the aircraft from the Cold War era and the Falklands crisis.
These aircraft are the De HAVILLAND VAMPIRE T.11, the PERCIVAL PROVOST T.1, the BAe SEA HARRIER FA.2, and finally the ENGLISH ELECTRIC LIGHTNING DB/F1. Just four of the 60+ aircraft and cockpits we have onsite.
Images of the four aircrfat are at the foot of the blog.
Enjoy the very brief tour, and look out for other virtual areas of the Museum coming to the blog later.
Can you help the Museum
In these financially constrained time, we are grateful for any help that we can get in keeping the museum running.
The Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum gathers a great deal of its income from donations given by visitors as they tour the various buildings and aircraft. Despite the temporary closure of the Museum and the subsequent lack of footfall through the museum, we still have ongoing costs in maintenance, insurance and utilities and there are two ways in which you can help. Either by becoming a museum member or by making a donation.
