Photo Walk at Flixton

Photo Walk at Flixton  … Tuesday 5th June 2018

Yesterday at the Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum saw a group of amateur photographers take a ‘photo walk’ through the Museum focusing their cameras on the aircraft and artefacts that we have.  The session was organised by Lucy Kayne who works with small business across Norfolk and Suffolk taking photographs that reflect who they are, whether it’s photos of their products, premises, headshots or documenting what they do.

Lucy brought along a group of seven, and they spent around 4 hours in different parts of the Museum both inside the hangar and outside.  The aim of the session was not so much in the instructional and technical aspects of photography, but more in the creative aspects.

Lucy’s photo walks are usually taken in Gardens, Cathedrals, classic car collections or as yesterday in Museums.

After the photographic walk through the museum, the group had a session on reviewing, editing and selecting each other’s work before the end of the day.

A small selection of their work has been kindly provided and is shown below:

I recognise most of the locations, and although there are no prizes on offer, I do wonder where a couple of those shots were taken ??
