Outstanding Young Volunteer Award Winner for the East of England

Outstanding Young Volunteer Award Winner for the East of England

On Wednesday evening this week, Flixton Aviation Museum was represented at the 2018 volunteer of the year awards Ceremony that was held at the Museum of East Anglian Life. This was to celebrate all the hard work that volunteers do for all the museums in the East, covering counties from Norfolk to Kent and out to Hertfordshire.

We are pleased (and proud) to announce that Natasha won the award for the Outstanding Young Volunteer award. We could not be more proud of her and all that she has given to the museum over the last 2 years.

Natasha is a full-time student at Suffolk One (Ipswich) where she is studying a BTEC in Engineering and you will find her during the college year in the Museum on a Sunday where she will be anywhere from the engineering workshops to the bric-a-brac and NAAFI. During the holidays she is usually found working with David Dawson on a restoration project, last summer being the Bensen Gyro.

Well done Natasha.
