The Shop – Day 2
As previously mentioned the Christmas closure at the Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum is being used to refit the shop.
Day two of the refit and ten volunteers spent the day clearing the stock and existing cabinets out of the shop into temporary storage either in the NAAFI area, or in the hangar space.
An early move was the ice cream freezer which we took the opportunity to move whilst it was still very cold outside, thus protecting the contents, if not ourselves.
All the cabinets have now been removed, a few will be reused, the rest reduced to spare parts or scrapped.
Next steps are to decorate the shell.
