Sunday 13th Sep @ NASAM …
The sun was shining and the volunteers were in good spirits. Gates opened at 1000 and the first of the 313 visitors arrived. This turned out to be a brilliant day at the Museum.
Shaun Westell visited who has a Facebook page ‘Giraffes on Tour’, in the memory of Louise Conway who died aged eight years old from cancer, asked if he could position “Geoffrey the Giraffe” for photos, we agreed. I took him around, maintained social distancing, cleaned the areas and positioned Geoffrey inside the barriers whilst Shaun took photos for the Facebook page. You can see a few of them reproduced below. His comments can be seen via the Facebook link @ Facebook Link

We had a group of nine bikers some of which were happy to pose for a photograph.
We also had many young families all thrilled at the experience of visiting the Museum, Some of the families were happy to have their photos taken for our blog, as were a couple of the volunteers who were caught having some downtime.
